In August of 2007 the Town of West Warwick and the West Warwick Police Department opened the West Warwick Youth Center.  This building contains offices of the School Resource Officers, Community Police Officer, Juvenile Prosecution Sergeant and the Planning and Training Lieutenant.  It currently serves as the department training rooms and houses the police gym.  The basketball court is maintained and accessible for the town's youth to utilize after school and on weekends.
